Dunkin' K-Cup Packs Now Available Online and Across Retail Stores in North America

Dunkin Brands Group informed that its Dunkin' K-Cup packs would be now easily available online and across retail stores in North America.

This is possible because of an expanded agreement with J.M. Smucker Co and Keurig Green Mountain Inc. At present, Dunkin' K-Cup packs are only accessible in Dunkin' Donuts restaurants in US. It has been informed that Dunkin' K-Cup produced by Keurig and Smucker makes and distributes Dunkin' Donuts brand bagged coffee.

According to a new agreement, Smucker will market K-Cup packs to grocery chains, club stores, drug stores, mass merchandisers, dollar stores and home improvement stores. Keurig is going to market the Dunkin' K-Cup packs to specialty stores and office superstores.

According to Dunkin' Brands, the K-Cup packs are going to be sold online by many retailers beginning spring. The financial terms of the agreement have not been disclosed by the companies. It has also been informed that the company has entered in a sharing agreement. Under this sharing agreement, certain franchisees are going to receive equal shares of profit from the sale of K-Cup packs and packaged coffee outside its restaurants.

The Company franchises restaurants under its Dunkin Donuts and Baskin-Robbins brands. In 55 countries, the company has more than 17,400 points of distribution. According to the company, it works in four segments, Dunkin Donuts US, Baskin-Robbins International, Dunkin Donuts International and Baskin-Robbins US.

Back in 2013, the Company Dunkin Donuts made announcement about the opening of its 500th restaurant in New York City and this will be a combination restaurant with Baskin-Robbins.
