Wildfires Force more evacuations in Central and Northern California

Emergency has been declared by Governor Jerry Brown as wildfires continue in many places and the many farms and homes have been destroyed. The official statement from the Governor stated that the wildfires’ magnitude was beyond the control of single local government.

The firefighters were busy keeping the situation under control in Amador, Butte, Humboldt, El Dorado, Lassen, Madera, Mariposa, Modoc, Mendocino, Shasta and Siskiyou counties. The situation in central and Northern California is still tense.

The officials forced evacuations in many regions. As per the fire department statement, the only silver lining is that the major fires are in rural areas and forests which are sparsely populated.

In Northern California, slight rain and higher humidity levels helped the firefighters in keeping two major wildfires under control.
