Google app for iOS updated; gets integrated 3D Touch support

The Google app for iOS has recently received an upgrade which has enhanced the app with some new features and added functionality.

The most noteworthy new features which Google has introduced in its updated app for iOS include 3D Touch support; Slide Over and Split View support for iPad users; and additional details about local businesses and other places, in time for the holiday shopping season.

With the Google app for iOS now boasting integrated 3D Touch functionality, shortcuts for standard, voice or image searches can be pulled up by the app’s users by hard-pressing the screen of their iOS devices.

Moreover, the Slide Over and Split View support offered by the updated Google app for iOS gives iPad users the ability to put apps side by side for increased efficiency. As such, the updated app’s iPad edition essentially unfolds the multitasking functionality for the users.
