New images reveal BlackBerry PRIV is a ‘very thin’ handset

With BlackBerry gearing up for the launch of its first-ever Android-powered handset called ‘BlackBerry PRIV,’ some real-life pictures of the handset have recently been shared online by a Reddit user.

According the newly-leaked BlackBerry PRIV images, the handset is a ‘very thin’ handset; probably as thin as – or even slightly thinner than – the Samsung Galaxy Note 5. The disclosure is highly noteworthy, especially since some previous leaks have hinted that the BlackBerry PRIV will feature a sliding keyboard which will apparently remain hidden in most situations.

Furthermore, the Reddit user has also revealed that the software of BlackBerry PRIV handset is snappy as well as smooth; and it has full access to the Google Play Store. The Reddit user also said that the build quality of PRIV is quite solid, and the keyboard-sliding mechanism is notably steady.

Already, some earlier BlackBerry PRIV leaks have revealed the design details and specifications of the forthcoming handset. As per these leaks, the display of PRIV has a subtle curve to it on the sides. This has been confirmed by the official PRIV pictures shared by BlackBerry some time back.

In addition, it is also been revealed, via some hands-on images shared online, that the BlackBerry PRIV will feature the Snapdragon 808 processor; and will come with 3GB of RAM, and an 18-megapixel rear camera capable of recording 4K video.
