Samsung’s new promotion allows iPhone users to test Samsung handsets for $1
A new promotion - called the 'Ultimate test Drive' - was launched by South Korean device manufacturer Samsung last week. The promotion gives iPhone users the ability to test out one of Samsung's latest handsets for one month, by paying only $1.
According to the details shared by Samsung on its 'Ultimate Test Drive' promotion page, iPhone users simply have to hand out a one-dollar bill to try out one of the new Samsung smartphones for a 30-day period; without any obligation.
About the new promotion, Samsung said on its promotion page that the "test drive kit" for iPhone users availing the promotion will come with "the phone of your choice, an activated SIM card, and a step-by-step guide to help you start your test drive."
Samsung also added alongside: "After 30 days, if you buy a qualifying Samsung device, there's even more love in store for you."
However, though the promotion underscores a rather bold offer by Samsung, it is actually a rental program. As such, if iPhone users testing a Samsung handset break it, or crack its screen, or cause water damage or any other damage to the handset, they will have to pay for the damages. Specifically, in such cases, Samsung will charge $100.
