Nintendo: Star Fox Zero will not have online multiplayer mode
At the ongoing E3 event this week, Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto said in an announcement that there will be no online multiplayer mode for the forthcoming Star Fox Zero game for the company's Wii U gaming console.
Announcing the unavailability of an online multiplayer mode for the upcoming Star Fox Zero game, Miyamoto asserted that the key focus of the team developing the game is on the creation of a solid single-player component.
According to the information shared by Miyamoto with IGN, the main priority for Nintendo with regard to the new Star Fox Zero game is to bring the capability to the game to play at 60 frames per second.
Pointing out that a lot of Nintendo's focus with the previous Star Fox title was on "dogfighting," Miyamoto said that, for the Star Fox Zero game, the company is largely focused on "the single-player experience."
About the future possibility of online multiplayer mode for Star Fox Zero, Miyamoto said: "As we continue on and once people get a feeling for the game... as the process continues if we find that we do think it'd be really good we'll definitely consider it, but right now we're not."
