Police arrests Prostitute for injecting fatal dose of heroin to client
California police have arrested a high-priced prostitute who allegedly killed a man by injecting a fatal dose of heroin into his body on board his yacht in Santa Cruz.
Alix Catherine Tichelman, 26, had a sex-for-money relationship 51-year-old victim. After injecting a fatal dose of heroin into his body, she left him unconscious and tried to hide his body in November 2013.
A security camera footage from the yacht showed Tichelman stepping over the body and leaving the boat, and then reaching back to lower a blind to conceal the body from outside view.
Police said the prostitute from Georgia didn't make any effort to help the victim; instead she gathered her belongings and even finished a glass of wine before leaving.
The Santa Cruz Police Department said in a statement, "At one point, she steps over the body to finish a glass of wine. Finally, she leaves the boat and reaches back in to lower a blind and conceal the victim's body from outside view."
The body was discovered the next day. Tichelman became a suspect after learning that she had a sex-for-money link with the victim.
The victim has been identified as Forrest Hayes. The family of the victim declined to talk to media.
