Estranged Wife Michelle Rounds slams Parenting of Rosie O'Donnell

Rosie O'Donnell's estranged wife, Michelle Rounds, has criticized her parenting. Rounds wants custody of their two-year-old daughter Dakota. According to Michelle, Rosie has not been taking a good care of the kid and is relying a lot on nannies and never teaches discipline to her.

She even claimed that nannies are present 24/7 at Rosie's house to provide care to the tot. ''I'm at my daughter's every beck and call. I give her mild discipline instead of, like, carte blanche, do whatever you want, which is more or less how Rosie likes to do things”, said Rounds.

Rounds' lawyer, William D. London, told Page Six that the full custody of the child is meant for her general welfare, which seems difficult in the custody of Rosie.

On the other hand, O'Donnell's rep Cindi Berger has to say that Rounds wants the custody of the child only for her gain and she has no interest in the care of the child.

Rounds, who is a former NYC-based consultant for the IT industry, said that she is not doing this for money as she earns good enough to meet her ends and her financial conditions is good to go for the child’s custody and ensure quality upbringing of the baby girl.

Divorce was filed by Rosie against her second wife Michelle in Manhattan Supreme Court in February. The reason she gave for the divorce was the need to spend more time with her kids and concentrate on her health. They separated last November and had been leading their lives living away from each other for months.

A prenup was signed by Rosie and Michelle before their marriage in 2012, and the divorce negotiations had been straightforward until now.
