Lenovo’s new hinged hybrid computer --- Yoga Pro 3

The latest offering from Chinese device manufacture Lenovo is the premium Yoga Pro 3 laptop, which is an incredibly flexible laptop that comes with a premium price-tag too --- starting at a whopping $2099.

One of the most noteworthy features of the Yoga Pro 3 is its watchband-like hinge which has the capability to move through almost 360 degrees. The hinge gives the laptop the advantage of being used as a convertible device, which can be used as a laptop as well as a tablet.

The Yoga Pro 3 can intelligently pick between the laptop and tablet modes, depending on how it has been folded by the users, along with a stand mode which is essentially for in-between use.

Some of the key features of the thin and light Lenovo Yoga Pro 3 laptop include a high resolution 3200 x 1800 pixel display; Intel's Core M-5Y70 2.6GHz processor; and 8GB of RAM. The device runs Windows software.

In addition to the above-mentioned features, the Yoga Pro 3 hinged hybrid computer also boasts a full SD card reader, microHDMI, and three USB ports --- two of which underscore the faster USB 3.0 standard, while the third one is a USB 2.0 port which is also the power connector for the device.
