Hershey Announces Launch of Reese’s Peanut Butter cup Flavored Spread
The Hershey Company, the largest chocolate manufacturer in North America announced the launch of a Reese's peanut butter cup flavored spread.
The Hershey Company commonly called Hershey's and its headquarters are in Hershey, Pennsylvania, which is also home to Hershey's Chocolate World. The Company has over 80 brands worldwide that drive over $7.1 billion in annual revenues and includes such iconic brand names as Hershey's, Reese's, Hershey's Kisses, Jolly Rancher and Ice Breakers.
According to the company's website, Reese's new peanut butter chocolate spread is like butter but better. Reese's makes enough peanut butter cups in just a year to feed one cup to each person in the USA, Europe, Japan, China, Africa, Australia and India combined.
It is good news for people who dreamed of consuming Reese's peanut butter cup on top of a cracker and also for people who wish to experience eating Reese's out of a jar or by licking a spoon.
Hershey's brand manager, Daren Russ said that they have been providing the accurate combination of chocolate and peanut butter since 1928. Adding to it, Russ said that Reese's Spreads provides an authentic Reese's experience to consumers who are looking for delicious snack options during day.
"With launch of Reese's Spreads, we are honoring our great heritage and bringing consumers a new, but still perfect, way to enjoy Reese's brand", Russ added.
Now customers can have various flavors of their candy with other products such as chocolate, hazelnut and almond with the new Hershey's products.
With the new product, people can now eat their preferred Reese's peanut butter cup out of the jar or by licking spoon. Hershey's, new Reese's spreads will be obtainable for $3.89 for a 13 oz. jar.
