Microsoft releases new Outlook for Mac version
In a recently published official blog post, software giant Microsoft has announced that it has released a new version of Outlook email client for Mac users.
The new Outlook version which Microsoft has rolled out for the users of Apple's OS X devices comes with enhanced features as well as notably better performance and security. The latest Outlook for Mac version is being made available for Office 365 University subscribers, Office 365 commercial customers, and Office 365 Home and Personal customers.
According to the details shared by Microsoft, the key to the new features coming aboard the latest Outlook for Mac version includes a totally revamped database structure, together with a new and improved threading model.
Among the other enhancements that Microsoft has brought t the new Outlook for Mac version include a redesigned user interface, better archive search, push support for real time delivery of emails, and improved scrolling and agility.
In addition, Microsoft has also revealed that the new Outlook for Mac version will also boast speedier services, improved Exchange functionality, and enhancements to the Master Category List functionality.
About the latest Outlook for Mac version, Microsoft said in the blog post that "the release offers a more familiar and consistent experience between Outlook on the PC, Outlook on the web and Outlook Web App (OWA) for iPad, iPhone and Android devices."
