Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo No More A Couple

Jordin Sparks and Jason Derulo have reportedly called off their three years long relationship, revealed sources close to the couple. The split was reportedly amicable, and the couple has decided to stay friends.

The 25-year-old singer confirmed the news during a radio interview with KDWB in Minneapolis on Thursday. He said, "Everything is cool man. It's not a bad situation, it's not one of those kinds of things".

The two were romantically linked in 2011 but had confirmed their relationship in January 2012.

Sparks, 24, and Derulo, 25, have always been open about their romance. On many occasions, the couple has stepped out together at red carpets and posted pictures on social media. Besides, in 2013, Jason released "Marry Me," a song he wrote about Jordin and she was even in the video.

In last month's MTV Video Music Awards, the pair walked the red carpet together. The couple use to post a lot of pictures together on social media. On September 8, Jordin shared a picture of them working out together and the very next day, Jason posted a photo from US Weekly on his Instagram account showing his love for her.

Probably things got tough for them as on September 15 Jordin revealed in her tweet that not everything was happy and added that she just wrote the saddest song of her life.

A source previously told the publication that the couple was "upset" and revealed that it was just not working for them as the relationship involved a lot of travel and hard work considering the duo's schedules.

The split has certainly come as a shock to many as the couple was almost inseparable. E! Online reported that the decision to end the relationship was 'mutual'. The pair still 'care very deeply for each other and will remain in each other's lives as friends'.
